Information to help you prepare and make the best of your day at Missouri State University.

Coaches will receive an information packet at registration with the session rosters for their team, schedules, impound info, maps, and other general info. Much of the information is detailed below.

  • PARKING: Buses may drop students off in the circle drive in front of Strong Hall on Holland Ave, south of Madison St, and then park in lots 39, 51, and 52. Other vehicles may park in lots 4, 18, 19, 22, and Bear Park South. Review a map of MSU's parking lots.
  • CHECK-IN: One of the team coaches must report to Strong Hall in the central 1st floor stairwell lobby for the check in process: (1) confirm their required forms submissions for their team, and (2) receive the informational packet and wristbands. It will be the responsibility of each coach/team to ensure that their students receive and wear their wristbands correctly. They cannot participate in events without these wristbands. Event leaders will take roll in each event room and students will ONLY be allowed to compete in the session in which they are registered. Exceptions are extremely rare.
  • CRASH SITES: A crash site/team room is where your team will meet, and students can gather and rest between events. This site will be in Strong Hall; no crash sites will be assigned in other buildings. Once crashsites are assigned, the information will be sent out prior to the tournament date via email.
  • There is NO allowance for student alternates at the Regional tournament - only the students that are on the team roster will be allowed to compete.
  • "OPEN" SESSIONS: Build events or any event that does not follow the standard 50-minute block will still require teams to pre-register for a time block. Please follow this schedule as you would any other event - if a team does not arrive on time for an event, it will be at the discretion of the event leader whether they can compete.
  • IMPOUND: For events that require a device to be impounded, the competing students will take their device to the site of the event and check in with the event coordinator. All devices must be permanently labeled with team and school name and must be impounded prior to the 8:30am start of the event.
  • FOOD: Plaster Student Union will be open the day of the tournament to allow coaches, parents, and team members to eat on campus. The Student Union offers a variety of restaurants for you to choose from.
  • QUESTIONS: Blunt Hall Room 143 (located in the main lobby of Blunt Hall near the stairwell) will serve as the administrative center for the tournament.
