The 2020 Fair Schedule

All events are located in Hammons Student Center.

Event Details

  • Project Setup
    • Students set up projects in Hammons Student Center. Some tape, a marker, and pen are handy items to have! The Safety Committee will note any violations of Safety or Display rules; be sure to check to see that your project does not have a violation.
  • Judging
    • Students MUST be with their projects for judging by 6:00 pm. Judging of Exhibits will begin promptly at that time. Students will be dismissed at 8:00.
  • Open to the Public (Wednesday)
    • Free Admission! Bring a friend, parent, or your whole class to see the Exhibits!
  • MSPE Bridge Building Contest
    • The Missouri Society of Professional Engineers' Annual Bridge Building Contest will once again be held in conjunction with the Fair. The contest is open to the public - come see local engineers test hundreds of high school students' bridge designs.
  • Open to the Public (Thursday)
    • Free Admission! This is your last chance to see all of the exhibits!
      WARNING: NO junior or senior projects can be removed until AFTER the Awards Ceremony. This prohibition will be strictly enforced. Elementary projects may be removed between noon and 5:00 pm, or after the Awards Ceremony.
  • Awards Ceremony
    • The Awards Ceremony will be held in the north end of Hammons Student Center's Main Arena. Friends and family of award recipients are encouraged to attend!
  • Project takedown
    • Removal of Exhibits. Any projects remaining after 9:00 pm will be discarded. This deadline is strictly enforced.
