Award Recipients

The 2022 Ozarks Science & Engineering Fair will be held March 29 - March 31.

Thanks to our volunteer judges, who donate their time and expertise to choose winners from among the many excellent projects submitted to the Ozarks Science and Engineering Fair. OSEF Senior Grand Prize Award winners qualify to complete at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair, where more than 1,700 students compete for more than $5 million in awards and prizes.

  • Congratulations to Tron Sherman, of Mansfield, MO, on receiving the following award at the 2009 Intel ISEF Grand Awards Ceremony with his project, "Use of Recycled Tires as Hydroponic Medium".
    • Third Place Category Award: $1,000
  • Congratulations to Canin Christell of Springfield, MO, on receiving the following awards at the 2008 Intel ISEF Special Awards Ceremony with his project, "Intelligent Task Coordination with Multiple Robots".
    • Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence: Second Award, $500
    • Electrical and Mechanical Engineering - Presented by Intel Foundation, Second Award, $1,500
    • Tuition scholarship Award of $8,000 for original research in an important Navel-relevant scientific area
  • Congratulations to Miles Barnhart, of Greenwood Lab School, for receiving the following award at the 2008 Intel ISEF Grand Prize Awards Ceremony with his project, "Recycling Carbon Dioxide for Biofuel Production with Algae".
    • Environmental Management -Presented by Kendeda Fund, Fourth Award, $500
